4 Days desert tour from Marrakech

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait ben Haddou – Dades.

Pick you up at 08:00 from your Riad/Hotel and we start this 4 days desert tour from Marrakech heading to Dades valley. On the way, we enjoy a spectacular road of red Mountains and Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah which is listed under UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Later, we continue to Dades and Valley of Roses via Ouarzazate or Moroccan Hollywood to visit Taourirt Kasbah and Studio of Cinema.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorges – Rissani – Merzouga – Camel Ride.

After breakfast, we continue this desert trip to Merzouga via Todra Gorges, one of the most impressive canyons, near Sahara with an oasis of palm trees, and we usually do a hiking of 30 mins there. Next, we keep driving to Merzouga desert through Erfoud, city which is known by fossils and the Festival of Dates, that takes a place there during summer. We also visit Rissani city, see Market and ahead to Erg Chebbi Dunes. You will ride camels (1 hour) and spend a night at campsite.

Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarine – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate.

After taking lovely photos of Sun-rise, we ride camels backing to a Guest House to have breakfast and Shower. Then, we ahead to Ouarzazate city through Alnif, Tazarine… and N koub by the Anti-Atlas Mountains, before we reach Draa valley, which is full of palm trees and tribal Ksours. On the way, we take some time to discover the Agdez, a 16th-century fortified village that is among the oldest mud brick ksours still standing.

Day 4: Ouarzazate – Tizi N tichka – Taourirt – Marrakech.

We will drive this 4 days desert tour back through Taourirt Kasbah, Studio of Cinema, the home of many movies: Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia… and Mummy. The largest and most famous of all Africa. Then, we will reach Marrakech, late afternoon for the end of the tour.
