Our journey continues as we reach the picturesque Berber village of Zaida, where a delightful lunch awaits. We then traverse the scenic towns of Midelt and Imilchil, soaking in the stunning landscapes before arriving at the magnificent Todra Gorge. Here, we’ll spend the night, nestled amid the awe-inspiring rock formations.

Day two begins with a satisfying breakfast, setting the stage for an adventure-filled day. Our route leads us towards the Sahara Desert, passing through a tapestry of Berber villages such as Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud. The latter marks the beginning of the Tafilalet Oasis, the world’s largest oasis, a true sight to behold.
The journey culminates as we reach Merzouga, home to the towering sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the gateway to the mighty Sahara. Upon arrival, you’ll have some leisure time to unwind before the main desert experience. Later in the afternoon, we’ll embark on an enchanting camel ride into the heart of the desert, heading towards our desert camp for the night.
Depending on the time, you may have the exhilarating opportunity to sandboard down the towering dunes or simply bask in the serene desert ambiance as the sun sets. As night falls, a delectable dinner awaits, accompanied by captivating live music featuring traditional Berber drumming and a cozy campfire. Retreat to your private cabin for a peaceful night’s rest under the desert stars.

Early risers will be treated to an awe-inspiring Sahara sunrise, a truly magical experience. After breakfast, we’ll return to Merzouga for refreshing showers, preparing for our journey back to Fes.
The road will lead us back to Fes, passing through ever-changing landscapes and picturesque vistas. As we traverse the diverse Moroccan terrain, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on the memories of this remarkable journey.
