Your exciting 11 day Morocco tour begins as our friendly driver welcomes you at Ibn Battuta Airport or one of the ports. We’ll swiftly transport you to your accommodation in Tangier, where you can unwind after your journey.
If time allows, we may even treat you to a delightful stroll through Tangier’s old medina, setting the stage for the adventures to come.
On the second day, we delve into Tangier’s allure, visiting iconic attractions such as the America Legation – the first building of the U.S. government located outside its homeland. A leisurely walk through the old medina unveils Tangier’s historical charm. The day continues with a visit to the mystical Hercules Cave at Cape Spartel.
Later, we journey to the mesmerizing Chefchaouen, Morocco’s “Blue Pearl.” The highlight of the evening is a captivating ascent to the Spanish church, where you’ll witness a breathtaking sunset over Chefchaouen’s picturesque blue cityscape.

Day three is devoted to exploring Chefchaouen, a city renowned for its captivating blue walls. We embark on a journey through its enchanting streets, stopping at the Kasbah Museum to uncover the city’s history.
The Ras El Ma waterfalls provide a tranquil escape, while the square of Wetat Lhmam offers a delightful tea break amid local ambiance. In the afternoon, we set our course for the splendid city of Fes, where a traditional Riad beckons for a restful night’s stay.

As the sun rises, we commence our exploration of Fes with a knowledgeable local guide. The Royal Palace gate is our first stop, followed by a venture into the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Traverse the labyrinthine alleys, stepping through Bab Boujloud, the famed Blue Gate.
Inside the Medina, you’ll marvel at historic landmarks like the Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, and the ancient tanneries. A visit to the Quaraouin mosque and university, hailed as the world’s oldest, unveils Fes’ intellectual legacy. The journey concludes with a panoramic view from an ancient fortress.

The fifth day sees us bidding farewell to Fes as we embark on an epic journey to Merzouga. En route, we pass through the photogenic Ziz valley, traverse the Middle Atlas mountains, and pause at Ifrane, fondly known as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” The cedar woods are home to Barbary monkeys, making for a memorable visit. As we approach the Sahara, the landscape changes, revealing hints of the desert’s allure. Arriving in Merzouga, we extend a warm welcome with a glass of mint tea, followed by a thrilling camel ride into the heart of the majestic Sahara Desert.

By mid-morning, we set out to explore the vast Sahara Desert, first with an exhilarating ATV quad ride. Next, we visit the desert nomads in their traditional tents, offering a fascinating glimpse into their way of life. Our journey continues to Khamlia town, where the entrancing Gnawa music, a cultural treasure, fills the air. The day concludes with a delectable dinner back at the camp.
Overnight in Sahara Desert Camp
Rise early to witness one of nature’s most breathtaking spectacles: a Sahara sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After this mesmerizing start, you’ll enjoy a Berber breakfast at the camp. We’ll then depart for Merzouga village, taking in the ever-changing beauty of the Erg Chebbi dunes. Our journey proceeds through Rissani, Tinghir, and the Todgha Gorges – the highest and narrowest in Morocco. A peek into the Berber women’s rug-making artistry awaits, along with fantastic views and an overnight stay at a charming guest house overlooking the Dades Valley.

As we journey through the Dades Valley, known as the “Way of the Thousand Kasbahs,” photo opportunities abound. A visit to Kalaat M’Gouna allows you to discover the essence of Morocco’s rose valley and its fragrant rosewater. Continuing on, we reach Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a UNESCO site and a cinematic gem featured in movies like “Gladiator.”
Our route then takes us through the awe-inspiring Tizi n’Tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you’ll witness the production of the unique Argan oil by Berber women in a cooperative. Arriving in Marrakech, your comfortable accommodation awaits.
Overnight in Marrakech
Marrakech, the “Red City” of Morocco, unfolds its wonders as you embark on a guided tour. Key highlights include the Koutoubia Minaret, Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and the intriguing Jewish Quarter.
After savoring a delicious lunch at a nearby restaurant, you’ll navigate the bustling souks, surrounded by a plethora of handicrafts. The stunning Majorelle Gardens provide a serene escape before you return to your accommodation.
Overnight in Marrakech
Our next destination is Essaouira, a charming coastal town once known as Mogador. Upon arriving around midday, you’ll have free time to wander its Medina and local markets. Don’t miss the bustling harbor, where fishermen gather, sell their catch, and even prepare it for you on the spot. Immerse yourself in the artistic and peaceful ambiance of Essaouira, set along the Atlantic coast.
