Following that, we carry on to the well-known Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. A fortified settlement designated by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site . Furthermore, the Kasbah has appeared in numerous films, including Gladiator, Alexander, The Mummy, and others. As well as TV shows such as Game of Thrones. Then we travel to Ouarzazate, known as “the desert gate.”

Overnight: In Ouarzazate

Day2: Ouarzazate – Skoura (Kasbah Amridil) – Rose valley – Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud -Merzouga Sahara

Today we will visit the Atlas Studio, where many great films were made, as well as the Taourirt Kasbah in Ourzazate. Then, in Skoura, drive southeast to see Amridil Kasbah, which is bordered by palm groves. Then proceed to Rose Valley. Every year in May, a Rose Festival is held when residents sell their rose items such as fragrances, rose water, oil, and cosmetics. Then we travel through the Dades valley, stopping at a vantage point overlooking the valley to take in the beautiful scenery of the Dades gorges. Then we go to Todra Gorges, where the Todra River carved out a great canyon through the mountains, creating a high red cliff-sided gorge.

Feel free to roam around the gorges and take in the scenery. We arrive in the afternoon in the Sahara desert of Merzouga. Where you transfer to camels to traverse the dusty desert. You will be taken to the top of a high dune to see the spectacular sunset. Then proceed to the desert luxury camp, where you may listen to Berber drum music while dancing around a bonfire beneath a big open sky of stars. Dinner and sleeping at the camp.

Day3: Desert Excursion – Tea with nomads, Khamlia, Merzouga Lake, Erg Chebbi, and palm groves.

Getting up early in the morning is essential if you want to see the lovely sunrise in the middle of the desert. Breakfast is optional. Then you return to Merzouga on camels, where the driver awaits. We plan to spend the day exploring the Merzouga area. There are other wonderful features in the area, including sand dunes, natural lakes, mines, fossil places, and spectacular oasis. Which are perfect locations for a variety of outdoor sports.

To begin our tour in Merzouga, we drive off-road to an ancient eyeliner mine. Then we pay a visit to the nomads in their handwoven tent. Learn about their way of life while sipping a cup of Berber tea.

The Khamlia village is our next stop, where you will experience Gnaoua music and dancing performances. Its residents come from Sub-Saharan African nations such as Mali, Sudan, and Niger. Lunch at a restaurant is optional. After that, we go for a walk in a palm tree forest. Then travel a few kilometers to witness Merzouga’s wild lake, commonly known as Flamingo Lake.

Dinner and sleeping at the camp.

Following that, we travel down the Ziz river and halt for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley.

Lunch in Midelt is optional. Then we proceed to the cedar forest, which is home to the Barbary Macaques. You are welcome to feed them while exploring the forest.
